Waldameer Park and Water World

Waldameer Park and Water World is located on the shores of Lake Erie at the entrance to Presque Isle State Park and is full of fun things to do with your family. With more than 75 different attractions, there is something to do for everybody! Water World, which was recently ranked in the top 10 water parks in the country by TripAdvisor, added a new wave pool in 2015 which holds half a million gallons of water, and is big enough for 1,000 people to enjoy. The newest addition to Water World is the Kidz Zone, meant for children shorter than four feet. Erie Zoo & Botanical Gardens

The Erie Zoo is a great way to enjoy some time with the family. From penguins to rhinoceroses, there are more than 400 animals representing 200 species to see while at the zoo. The Big Cat Exhibit opened in April 2015, featuring Canadian Lynx and Amur Leopards. Ride the train, carousel and watch a show between looking at all of the animals.
